Rachel Eby passed away on January 9th, 2026, at her home in Utrecht, the Netherlands. She was born on May 2nd, 1990, in Cumberland County, East Pennsboro Township, Pennsylvania, to Linda and Marlin Eby.
Rachel had the extraordinary capacity to make everyone feel seen and understood. She valued human connection and her relationships above all else. This was reflected in her work as a psychologist, which she found so meaningful. Her warmth, sense of humor, cleverness, brilliance, thoughtfulness, and deeply compassionate spirit left a lasting mark on those fortunate enough to have known her. She was deeply loved and will be deeply missed.

You are very welcome to attend Rachel’s farewell service. The ceremony will take place on Monday, January 19, at 3.30 PM at crematory Zeister Bosrust, Woudenbergseweg 46 in Zeist.

We’d love to meet you afterwards to share memories.

You are welcome to wear whatever feels comfortable to you.
